Please not that following items are not permitted in Residential or Business’s dumpster/garbage bins. Certain items are not permitted due to safety, environmental or logistical reasons. Some items can be dangerous for sanitation workers to handle, either due to sharp edges, toxic materials, or potential for fire or explosions.

• Hazardous waste:
  • Includes items like batteries, electronics, fluorescent light bulbs, paint, used motor oils, and chemicals.
• Large Appliances:
  • Appliances like refrigerators, stove, and washing machines are too bulky and will not fit in garbage truck. These items need to be taking to landfill or dispose properly.
• Construction Materials:
  • Materials such as Concrete, bricks, lumber, and roofing materials. These items require a separate containers or disposal method.
• Liquids:
  • Includes paint, chemicals, and other fluids.
• Yard Waste:
  • Items includes landscaping, gardening, lawn care and other outdoor projects. This includes grass clippings, weeds, sticks, branches, stumps, plants and leaves
• Tires:
  • Not permitted due to their bulk and potential for trapping water, which can lead to mosquito breeding.
